The podiatry probe is used to insert tamponades and to clean the space near the periungual shafts. The total length of the probe is 16 cm, the length of the applicator is 10 mm. The M probe has a narrow working tip.

Thanks to the width of the applicator, the probe is safe for people taking their first steps in podiatry and for resale to patients.

Disinfection and sterilization

After each treatment, the tool should undergo a full process, from washing to sterilization. Before washing, remove any contaminants, i.e. tissue residues, dust or other dirt manually with a disposable cloth, paper towel or brush.

The first step in the cleaning process is washing the tool. It is recommended to use an ultrasonic cleaner for this purpose.

The next step is sterilization. The tool, after washing, disinfecting and drying, should be sterilized using devices and in conditions compliant with applicable standards.

The recommended method of sterilization is overpressure steam sterilization at 134 ° Celsius (not to exceed 200 °). The minimum sterilization time is 15 minutes and the drying time for the package is 20 minutes.
